Seasoned English manager Veri (Paint dry) Borrin's outstanding Man Unexcited have won the race to sign Spanish striker Víctor in the 24 hour wage auction that ended this morning at 09:04. Only 2 teams entered the bidding for this hugely talented striker which suggests thatnot many teams are concentrating their efforts on scouting skills. MUFC were the first team to spot Victor and his potential. Their bid of £13,001 was enough to secure him on a 1 season contract to make him the higest paid player at the club. There is an acquisition fee of £52,000 payable and a signing-on fee of £130,010 (10 x his wage of £13,001) payable to Víctor by Man Unexcited.
"We have been patiently waiting for a top class striker in which we could afford to become available. This is without doubt our greatest signing yet. We create so many chances but lack the instinct in front of goal. With Victor leading our attack we are hoping that all that will change. We really could become a top side in the coming seasons as our averadge squad age is only 24-25.
